The Tackle Company was established in 2007 and is located in the Avonside Enterprise Park in Melksham, Wiltshire. This location was chosen as it is easily accessible for our customers without front parking in the centre of Wiltshire and the centre of Melksham town. I, the owner (Stuart Atkins), decided to open a tackle shop specialising in carp and coarse fishing, as I have always had a love for angling since a young age, and it has always been a huge passion of mine.
The shop has made massive growth in the 16 years that it has been open with a very loyal customer base, which means we see the same friendly faces week in and week out, so we must be doing something right! We also run monthly competitions on our Facebook page.
I, and my staff are always on hand to help with any questions that need answering and are always able to help anybody, from beginners to experienced anglers.
We pride ourselves on our good customer service and the fact that we create a very relaxed atmosphere in the shop. We are always up for a laugh; you can see that for yourself if you check out our Facebook videos!
